I found this advert in the 'Sutton & Epsom Advertiser' dated 15th December 1922:

... and this in the 16th March 1923 edition:
“GRAMOPHONERIES 138 Portland Rd., S. Norwood, have opened EXTENSIVE NEW SHOWROOMS at 37 High St., S. Norwood. They are worth visiting. Gramophones £1 2s 6d to £25.”
... as well as this in the 15th December 1927 edition:
“Melody Gramophones from 5/- deposit 2/- weekly. The finest gramophones obtainable, fully guaranteed including main springs free —Sole distributors: Gramophoneries 37 High St., South Norwood. Accredited for 'His Master’s Voice', 'Columbia Viva-Tonal'.”
... plus this in the 'Streatham News' dated 30th October 1936:
“S. NORWOOD-—The Gramophoneries, 37 High Street (Livingstone 1506).”
