Rhythms in Redhill and Reigate were our Record shops ( there was also a Giles in both places & then in the 70's an L&H Cloake's ) but Rhythms was a magical place. They also sold sheet music ( yes I AM THAT Old ), musical instruments, and upstairs radios & TV's. I remember Dad buying our first transistor radio ( PYE) from the Reigate shop for us to take on holiday in the caravan in Selsey Bill. I suppose records etc being available in Woolworths signalled the beginning of the end of Record shops, but I still have fond memories.
