I found this advert in the 'Bucks Advertiser & Aylesbury News' dated 18th February 1922:
“REGAL GRAMOPHONES; Cash or Easy Terms.— GEORGE F. SMITH, 18, Temple Street, Aylesbury.”
... and this in the 'Southwark & Bermondsey Recorder' dated 7th December 1923:
“Gramaphone for the infirmary - The Hospital Committee stated that they have recently considered a report from the medical superintendent with reference to the question of wireless installation at the hospital, in which he stated that, in view of the great practical difficulties, he could not recommend such installation, but that probably very much more pleasure would be obtained at small expense by providing two or three gramaphones. The committee have now considered quotations for gramaphones, and recommend that an order be issued upon Messrs. George F. Smith Ltd., of 129-131, Newington Butts, for supplying two No. 60 His Master's Voice™ Gramaphones, at £8 10s. Each.”
... plus this in the 'Bucks Herald' dated 15th November 1924:
“THE AYLESBURY MUSIC SALOONS. GEORGE F. SMITH, Ltd., 18, TEMPLE STREET. Local Agents for “HIS MASTER’S VOICE” GRAMOPHONES AND RECORDS; “COLUMBIA” GRAFONOLAS AND RECORDS; PIANOS - direct from our London Factory from 21s. monthly.”
