4th March 1991, Fulcrum Records opened its doors, on a chilly Monday morning 33 years ago.
Much of the stock on that first day were tunes from the previous two years, come along to The Warehouse Leeds on Easter Saturday, March 30th for a night filled with the best tracks around
Spent many a Saturday morning in there
Huddersfield Examiner article stated: “This independent record shop on John William Street was small in the extreme. But it was also the place to buy dance music and indie singles and albums. The shop was opened by dance music enthusiast Gary Woodhouse in 1991. Today it’s a newsagent”. Mid-90s directories give Fulcrum’s address as 20 Cross Church Street.
