I found an advert in the ‘Hull Daily Mail’ dated 23rd December 1996: “New/second-hand CDs, tapes and videos. Save money on Xmas gifts. Fat Larry’s, Pools Corner, Newland Ave.”

Name: Nick Boldock
Comment: Fat Larry's was in the same building as the well-known Pools Corner second-hand shop. The part where Larry's was now houses one of these loan companies. Pools Corner is now a bar.
