Eric Nelson

There is a 78 rpm record sleeve for Eric Nelson "Records, TV and Radio repairs" at 220 Middlewood Road, so he must have sold records here for a time (the details were just stamped on a plain sleeve, see image). The small terrace of shops is still there and currently a taxi office. This was a big shopping area for locals, with a cinema etc. There was a Nelson's at Lowfield in Heeley selling records probably in the Fifties as well but we do not have an address or know if it was the same firm.
