Name: Malc Burton Comment: I found the photograph by chance, while browsing the internet. My research, found thart the stall was one that was part of the markets situated in London’s Mile End. The year - again from what I could find out - was either mid- to the end of 1938 or during the first seven months of 1939: it was certainly before the outbreak of World War II in the September of 1939; my feeling is that it was possibly during that July or August of 1939.
