I found this advert in the 'Melton Mowbray Times and Vale of Belvoir Gazette' dated 26th March 1964:

“Record Bar: DUCKWORTH'S - SEE OUR LARGE DISPLAY OF 45 R.P.M. SINGLES, LP.s AND EPs. RECORDS TO SUIT EVERYONE. ALWAYS OVER 300 GUARANTEED USED RECORDS IN STOCK AT 3/- EACH. EVERY TEN POUNDS YOU SPEND WITH US MAY WIN YOU A POUND.”

… and this in the 11th December 1964 edition:

“PEOPLE WHO KNOW GO TO ... Duckworth's Record Bar, MELTON’S SUPER RECORD MART. Select your Records the EASY way. Something for Everybody. Save at our ‘Bargain Corner’. Buy Your RECORDS in the Central Arcade.”

… and this in the 17th December 1965 edition:

“DUCKWORTH'S RECORDS, CENTRAL ARCADE, SHERRARD STREET. NOW OPEN DAILY UNTIL CHRISTMAS.”

… and this in the 25th August 1967 edition:

“WANTED for cash, records in good condition.—Duckworths Record Bar, Central Arcade, Melton.”

… plus this in the 4th July 1969 edition:

“AT LAST - WE CAN GIVE YOU GENUINE Savings on Records. SPECIAL OFFERS FOR JULY!! YOU SAVE £1 EACH ON SINGLES when you buy three or more. 2/6d to 8/9d OFF ALL FULL PRICE L.P.s. DUCKWORTH'S RECORDS, CENTRAL ARCADE, MELTON.”
