I found this advert in the 'Illustrated London News' dated 27th November 1926: “DOUSONA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD., 170, Fleet Street, E.C.4; 52, High St., Croydon; 108, Old Christchurch Rd., Bournemouth.”
... and this piece in 'The Sphere' dated 5th March 1927: “DOUSONA MANUFACTURING CO., LTD. The Ideal Gramophone for the Ideal Home. AN ALL-BRITISH TRIUMPH IN DESIGN AND PRODUCTION! The Dousona Gramophone represents the ultimate achievement in gramophone construction. By means of the patent all-wood tone arm and floating amplifier, it provides truly perfect reproduction of the recorded sound.”
... and this article in the 'Croydon Times' dated 4th September 1929: “BIG CROYDON FIRE – DOUSONA PREMISES ABLAZE. £2,000 DAMAGE. ADJOINING PROPERTY SAVED. A serious outbreak of fire, resulting in an estimated damage of £2,000, occurred at the premises of the Dousona manufacturing (Gramophone and Wireless) Company, at Duppas Lane, Croydon, on Sunday.”
