I found an advert in ‘The Tatler’ dated 6th August 1966: “GRAMOPHONE RECORD SALES NOW ON. DISCURIO'S SUMMER SALE of genuine record bargains, including deletions, foreign range samples and stock deletions prior to stocktaking. Mon-Fri 10 am to 8 pm. Sat 1 pm. DISCURIO. 9 Shepherd Street, London, W.1. (Behind the Hilton Hotel).”

My father was an avid collector of Military band Records from around the world, while I collected Soundtracks. I remember visiting Discurio on several occasions. They stocked niche genres and catered to both our tastes. I'm pretty sure I bought "The Fantasy Film World of Bernard herrmann" on DECCA Phase4 from there
