I found this piece in the 'Western Evening Herald' dated 6th April 1951: “CITY RADIO of 45 MUTLEY PLAIN, PLYMOUTH, are grateful and proud of this unsolicited tribute to add to the very many we have had ever since opening in 1931. However difficult supplies &c may become, City Radio will always try to give COURTEOUS, EFFICIENT, PERSONAL ATTENTION.”
