I found this piece in the 'South Yorkshire Times' dated 4th October 1958: “RECORD RENDEZVOUS: BARNSLEY and district teenagers and music lovers can now add another meeting place to their list - a new 'Record Rendezvous' and radio and television department in the basement of the Sheffield Road store of Charles Hall, Ltd., Barnsley.”
