I found this piece in the 'Boston Target' dated 29th January 1997: “CHAMPION SOUNDS. Club Ware with Attitude, Happy Hardcore records, Helter Skelter Dream Scope tapes, Slamming Vinyl jackets. Open 10.30am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday. 20 HIGH STREET, BOSTON. Tel: 01 205 368225. Champion Sounds. HERE are the dance music specialists with a wide range of tapes, videos and the like catering for all tastes. The proprietor is Mr Mick Craig, a local man through and through who attended what is now the Middlecott School in Kirton. He set up his business from scratch some eight months ago in premises that were previously used as a catalogue shop. He is open 10.30am to 5pm every day except Mondays and would welcome anyone wishing to look around at the musical items and club-wear clothing, including jackets.”
