I remember my dad buying a 'Manual Parastat' record cleaning/anti-static kit, not long after he bought a Ferguson radiogram in the mid-1960's. I still have a few LPs which have 'Cleaned 1968' written on the inner sleeve in pencil. When I eventually acquired a separates hi-fi system in the early 1970's, I bought a Dust Bug to keep my records clean as I played them.
