CCR was a great little shop on Kings Parade, right opposite Kings College. It was run by two knowledgeable young men, one of whom was a troubled soul called Edward, for whom life was evidently quite a struggle. When CCR closed, the other guy moved to another Cambridge shop - my memory is hazy but it might have been Heffers Sounds. I loved CCR because they accepted used LPs in part-exchange for new ones - once I traded in about 15 in part-payment for a 5LP set of Wagner's Parsifal (Kna '51 if you're interested). I was also very grateful to the other guy for the way in which he helped me out when some CDs were stolen from my car, including one which was part of an 8-disc set...
