This record shop was a weekly stop off for me in my late teens. The upstairs section held American imports or probably records printed for the American Market but never sent and overstocks from record companies and regular promotional DJ copies of records for 99p or less. Still got some of these records - great shop but closed due to heavy competition from Sound Advice (Castle Arcade) and Spillers records opposite.

I was cleaning some old records and came across Pretenders and Pretenders II, both with Buffalo records price stickers for the princely sum of £1.99 each, presumably from their closing down sale. Interestingly the labels on both are in Spanish which follows nicely with the comment about foreign labels.
