Blue Horizon Records

I found a mention of the Blue Horizon Record Shop on this webpage:

“Back in the late 1960s Blue Horizon, the blues label that launched Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac, ran a small record shop out of their Mornington Crescent building. Both shop and label closed by 1971.”

I recall buying a couple of Blue Horizon 45s from Pete Wingfield in the Blue Horizon Record shop on Parkway probably in 1971. The shop was located on the opposite side to the Dublin Castle. I also recall Sire Records boss Seymour Stein mentioning the shop when we were having breakfast in the cafe on Parkway in 1976.
