Name: Tony May Comment: Blast From The Past was for most of its life situated in The Enterprise Centre near Eastbourne Station. Its first owner was a 'wily old campaigner' by the name of 'Bob' (amongst others!) and it sold mainly second-hand videos, LPs, and latterly DVDs and CDs.
Later on the business was taken over by a younger chap and he did away with the second-hand element and the vinyl side (though I think he did carry on selling 12"s for a time) and began to sell budget price CDs and DVDs, as well as current chart albums, CD singles and box sets etc. I have a feeling he changed the shop name to Blast Music as well, but this could be a false memory.
The last I remember of the shop, it had moved to bigger premises within Eastbourne station itself (near the shoe repair shop).
Name: David Hudson Comment: Shopped and browsed here a lot in the mid-1990s for second-hand CD albums and singles.
The shop was very small but well-stocked (sometimes with recent releases). I think they sold a fair bit of VHS too and recall vinyl being on the rear wall from floor to ceiling.

The shop was indeed later renamed to Blast Music.
