I found this listing in the 'Halifax Evening Courier' dated 3rd December 1924:
“BINNS & CO., Piano and Gramophone Expert, 41, Bolton Brow, Sowerby Bridge. Tel. 147 S.B.”
... and this in the 16th September 1931:
“BINNS & Co. 41, BOLTON BROW, and 59a, WHARF STREET, SOWERBY BRIDGE. Tel. 81347.”

This is my great grandad’s shop-Norman Binns 1896-1966. He was a piano tuner and his partner sold pianos. For some time he, his wife Annie and their daughter Dorothy lived in the flat above the shop. How wonderful to see this- thank you for preserving this piece of history!
