I found this advert in the 'Evesham Standard' dated 7th May 1954:
“NOW OPEN - BILLY MORTON 67A, HIGH STREET, EVESHAM (Phone: 6327).”
... and this in the 20th August 1954 edition:
“BETTER EQUIPPED FOR BETTER SERVICE - GO TO BILLY MORTON 67a, HIGH ST. EVESHAM (Phone 6327) FOR YOUR RECORDS. ALL LEADING MAKES. RECORD-PLAYERS, RADIO, MUSIC & MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. EASY TERMS ARRANGED.”
... plus this in the 21st January 1955 edition:
“Gramophone Records - Hear Them ... Choose Them ... Buy them ... BILLY MORTON 67a, High Street, Evesham. Phone 6327. His Master's Voice & all Leading Makes.”
... and this in the 3rd February 1961 edition:
“BILLY MORTON 67a, HIGH ST., EVESHAM. Tel. 6327. We have the Best Selection of CLASSICAL, POPULAR and JAZZ RECORDS in EVESHAM. H.P. TERMS AVAILABLE.”
