I found this advert in the 'Yorkshire Evening Post' dated 14th January 1933:
“BARKERS for PIANOS, RADIOS & RECORDS. R. BARKER & CO. LTD., 6, 7 and 8, Albion Place, Leeds.”
... and this in the 2nd January 1954 edition:
“Gramophone Records. The largest stocks in the largest and most comfortable department in Leeds – BARKERS. R. BARKER & CO., LTD. 6-8, ALBION PLACE, LEEDS.”
