Run by two rather straight blokes (one named Jim) who would have preferred to sell only classical records to discerning customers but were forced to deal with the pop/rock/punk buying plebs in order to make ends meet. First place I ever saw a CD player.
Audiosonic relocated to College Green by the Cathedral where presumably they hoped to find a better class of punter.

I found this in the 'Gloucester Citizen' dated 7th March 1986:
“Programmes £2 (Senior Citizens & Students £1.50) from Audiosonic 12 Bell Walk, Gloucester .”
... and this in the 'Gloucestershire Echo' dated 19th September 1986:
“Audiosonic 12 Bell Walk, Gloucester (Tel 32280).”
