Please note, Arawak records was founded by me, Patrick Cann, not Dennis Bovell as I have read in some of his interviews that he has given.

Dennis and myself were never partners, I licensed records from Dennis Bovell - Little Way Different Errol Dunkley; Silly Games, albums which I paid for, Gladdy Wax Portrait of You, Tabby Cat Kelly Don’t Call Us Immigrants, Marie Pierre, Dub Dem Dilly volumes one and two.

Please note, if you need any information regarding myself and my company it would be nice to know you can get in touch with me - from the best of my knowledge this record industry was not built up around one person, it took a lot of talented singers, musicians, producer to create what we call Lover's Rock today that everybody is writing about now, but you are not giving the credit to the people that deserve it. It seems to be going around the same circle, all about one person - don’t you think it’s time you started sharing the credit and giving the credit to those who really deserve it? There’s so many people that can be interviewed and give their opinion and their input, if you really want to write about the music Lover's Rock please do your research, give the credit to the people who really deserve it, stop going around the same circles that have nothing to say other than it’s all about himself - share the wealth. Don’t you think it’s about time, they more than deserve it.
