Comment: Allders of Croydon had a very good record department in their arcade during the late 1960s and 1970s. It was located on the right-hand side of the arcade, as you were walking from North End, close to the George Street exit. I bought Deep Purple’s first Harvest LP Book Of Taliesyn and In The Court Of The Crimson King by King Crimson there in 1969. They had a good selection of classical records too.
