"One of the shops at the centre of the rare groove scene, one of the first shops to bring in Roy Ayers 45s, also from the storage room Leo's Sunshipp Give Me the Sunshine. Also tracks from the time like Reuben Wilson Got To Get Your Own, Lonnie Liston Smith Expansions, Gwen McCrae All This Love That I’m Givin’, some of many they sold. They also supported Level 42 and brought us AtmOsfear Dancing in Outer Space. Pete Tong and Martin Star were mail order customers in the late 1970s." - excerpts from Jerry Pike Interview with Tony Monson on Solar Radio, 25 2 2016 on Mixcloud.

There was an All Ears branch at 245, which is where I think I saw mountains of unplayed copies of The Trojan Story in 1978 (it may have become 'Bargain Records' by that time). 'Bargain Sounds' also had a shop in Rupert Street Market where some of the 1971-74 Trojan LP titles could be had cheaply, I guess after Frank Lea had bought the company from Rodd.

Comment: My friend who worked at Bizarre shop in Praed Street, Paddington gave me the All Ears business card, which was red with black print. It stuck with me to the 1990s then it was lost.
