I found this advert in the 'Edinburgh Evening News' dated 17th December 1957:

“ALF BECKETT for Records. All New, All Brands, All Speeds. 202/4 LEITH WALK (next Alhambra).”

… and this in the 30th December 1957 edition:

“ALF BECKETT for Records. 30,000 Titles to Choose From. 202-204 LEITH WALK (next Alhambra).”
