I found this advert in the 'Newcastle Journal' dated 22nd May 1950: “NEW RECORDS FOR MAY can be heard at ALDERSON & BRENTNALL'S NINE BOOTHS, ALWAYS USED FOR DEMONSTRATING RECORDS. OPEN ALL DAY (Saturday included). 125, Northumberland Street, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.”

I found this advert on page 14 of 'Record Mirror' dated April 17, 1971:
