Name: Richard Steele.
Comment: These guys started out in 1969 and are still there! An Aladdin's Cave of great music (CD & vinyl) and more books than you can count. Call in and say hi to Joe and Alan and check it out for yourself. 45 years running one of the best new & second-hand stores anywhere.

Comment: Steve.
Comment: Where I bought some seminal music from 1975-78.

This shop was here by 1973, selling books but with a room devoted to vinyl and later CDs, with specialist section on experimental music and local bands. The shop opened up in Walkley on South Road prior to coming into the city centre. Still open 2016 but developers have permission to destroy the Victorian block.

The shop was closed by order of the property owners in 2017 who forced them out.
