I found this piece in the 'Hertford Mercury & Reformer' dated 22nd December 1989: “Parliament Music, Hertford, who are celebrating their first Christmas in the town, said people were buying more compact discs and tapes.”
… and this piece in the 10th May 1996 edition: “AN ANGRY Hertford town centre trader has revealed the cost to her business of roadworks in Parliament Square - £1,000 a week! Jo Haigh, 37, who runs Parliament Music with her husband Rob, has attacked the duration of work and is pushing East Herts. Council for compensation.”
… and this piece in the 1st November 1996 edition: “A RECORD store is moving to a smaller neighbouring shop after business was badly hit by the enhancement works in Hertford’s town centre. Parliament Music, which has traded from its Parliament Square premises for eight years is planning to move into the empty unit next door.”

This was my local record shop and where i bought all of my hardcore choons. Even got served by Nookie once when he was in there. I bought his remixes release. Should have got him to sign it. Shop is long gone now.
Wish I had kept that slipmat
