The shop was still a drapers around 1924 but then became the Music Box probably around the late 1940s, and by the 1960s was selling radios, record players and other electric appliances. Their sleeves of that time boasted 'Top Twenty Always In Stock'. Local woman Josephine Turner purchased Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino and a Freddie & The Dreamers 45 here. This part of the street has been redeveloped with low-rise council property and nothing remains of the shop.
