I found this picture caption on page 19 of the 'Bury Free Press' dated 26th November 1982:
“Medusa Records of 5 Marriotts Walk, Stowmarket, caters largely for the current pop scene with the Top 75 singles and new releases always stocked. Owned by Andy Olney (pictured), it has been operating from 5 Marriotts Walk, Stowmarket, since March. He offers popular albums at discount prices and a wide range of 12-inch singles, exclusive to the Stowmarket area. He is to broaden his range with light classics, country and western, and others, to cater for a wider clientele. Another interesting stock line available is the range of seven-inch picture discs, which are fast becoming collectors items. Pop calendars are also sold.”
… and this advert on the same page:
“Stumped for a Christmas Present? WHY NOT GIVE A MEDUSA RECORDS GIFT VOUCHER. Available in multiples of £1.00, £2.50 and £5.00. 1983 POP CALENDARS, £2.99 • Toyah, Haircut 100, Bucks Fizz, David Bowie, Barry Manilow. 5 MARRIOTTS WALK, STOWMARKET.”
