I found this advert in the ‘Bristol Evening Post’ dated 14th July 1973: “KAYS RECORD AND TAPE CENTRE require an intelligent male Assistant. For full details write to the Manager, Kays 64 Stapleton Road, Bristol 5.”

Hello, I worked in Yate from 1981 to 1982. Cathy Johnson lined up the interview with Vic Kibby for me before moving onto bigger and better things with Mamma Mia!!

I found this advert in the 'Bristol Evening Post' dated 3rd December 1970: “RECORDS and Record Tokens make ideal gifts - choose now at Kay’s Record Centre 64 Stapleton Road, Bristol (City end). Tel: 552193.”
... and this in the 12th December 1975 edition:
“Now Open! YATE SHOPPING CENTRE - KAY’S RECORDS & TAPES, South Parade (adjoining Post Office). Tel: Chipping Sodbury 312049. Selection of LP Records from only 89p.”
