I found this advert in the ‘Brentwood Gazette’ dated 29th November 1968: “YOU KNOW IT MAKES SENSE TO SHOP AT THE SECOND-TO-NONE TWO-DEPARTMENT STORE - GREENS MUSIC & SPORTS STORE LTD, 11 INGRAVE ROAD, AT WILSONS CORNER.””
... and this article in the 24th October 1969 issue: “GREEN’S MUSIC & SPORTS STORES LTD celebrated their Jubilee in 1952 and are STILL recognised as THE store for efficiency, service and fair trading. We are STILL at 11 Ingrave Road, Brentwood (Wilsons Comer). Established 1902.”
