I found an article in the ‘Gloucester Citizen’ dated 11th August 1992:
“THE OWNER of a massive new shop, specialising in records, tapes and music memorabilia, is hoping it will be a big hit in Gloucester. The opening of Cotswold Records, in the Antiques Centre building, should also be a boost for the trade in the Docks development. The store, which boasts more than 50,000 items in stock, has collectable records and other music-linked items from the 1950s to the present day. Owner Adrian Pierce, who has been running a similar mail order service for five years, said his new venture would be unique in the area. “There is absolutely no other business that deals with this growing popular hobby, especially since the almost complete demise of vinyl records” he said.”
... and I found the full address in the ‘Gloucester News’ dated 15th December 1994: “Cotswold Records, Unit 24 (2nd floor), Antiques Centre, Severn Road, Gloucester. Tel: 300601. OPEN 12 - 5 Tues - Sat : 1 - 5 Sundays.”
