I found this advert in the 'Portsmouth Evening News' dated 24th September 1924:
“GRAMOPHONES and Records wanted. Titmus, 321 Arundel Street, Fratton.”
...and this in the 17th December 1934 edition:
“COLLARO Electric Motors with pick-up and volume control, usually £4, our price, 60s. complete; Soundboxes, 25s.; Tone Arms, 25s.; Main Springs, 1s. each. Prompt service in Gramophone repairs. F. Titmus, 321, Arundel Street, Fratton Road end.”
...plus this in the 24th December 1941 edition:
“TITMUS'S, 321, Arundel Street, Fratton, for all the latest Records, Pick-ups, Reproducers, Main Springs, and Musical Instrument Strings.”
