In 1951 the shop at 63 Monmouth street was in new and spacious premises. Dealing mainly in second-hand stock, strong in foreign pressings. The most expensive records were not on show but a catalogue could be consulted. Serious collector might, on request, be allowed to examine these items, Records were advertised in the Gramophone Magazine.

I found this piece in 'The Tatler' dated 12th February 1966:
“Collectors' Corner, 63 Monmouth Street, WC2 (LAN 6155), is another haunt for rare record collectors. Specialise in very early operatic recordings and vocals. Have for sale such treasures as the first record made by Frances Saville, the American-born pupil of the famous Marchesi (who taught such singers as Melba). Have records dating back to 1895 some of the items they sell are expensive and you might have to pay up to £350 for something that is really a collectors' item. (9-6 Mon.-Sat., closed Thur. at 1pm.).”
