I found this piece in 'Scotland on Sunday' dated 15th January 1995: “CODA MUSIC, Unit 14, Waverley Shopping Centre, Edinburgh. 01315574694. 10% discount on all items including chart. Established four years ago, Coda Music has striven to offer as much of a varied taste of music as possible at affordable prices. Coda Music is now a mini-megastore offering music to suit all tastes from folk, jazz and country to classical and mainstream rock and pop.”
... and this in the 'St. Andrews Citizen' dated 1st November 1996: “CODA MUSIC at: Kingdom Centre, Glenrothes; Waverley Market, Edinburgh; Almondvale Centre, Livingston.”
... plus this piece from 'Scotland on Sunday' dated 18th May 1997: “Listen up: Rose Norton of Coda Music, which has just opened its fourth outlet, a folk and Scottish music shop, in Edinburgh. “We want to make it like a main high street store but with a smaller feel,” she says.”
... and this piece in 'The Scotsman' dated 18th August 1997: “FOLK MUSIC, Blues, World, Country - Best Selection in Scotland. Coda Music on The Mound at 12 Bank Street, Edinburgh.”
Google StreetView shows it was still at 12 Bank Street in May 2018.
